Mount St. Mary’s University is a private, liberal arts, Catholic university in the Catoctin Mountains near historic Emmitsburg, Maryland, with a satellite campus for adult students in Frederick, Maryland’s second largest city.

More than 40% of our incoming students choose a STEM major, but we’ve outgrown the Coad Science Building. To solve this, the campaign will fund a 21,000 square foot expansion and renovation, featuring new classrooms, labs and collaborative space so the Mount can continue to prepare ethical scientific leaders.
The Mount's proud tradition of excellence in sports has gone into overdrive. In just six years we’ve doubled the number of Division I student-athletes and netted 17 conference titles and nine NCAA tournament appearances. Our facilities need to be updated to continue this success, especially in the more competitive MAAC.
