The Mount proudly welcomes veteran students. We recognize and value the sacrifices you and your family have made to serve selflessly and will make every effort to help make your transition to college as easy as possible. Please reach out to us at anytime with questions about applying the Mount, how to apply your benefits, or the dedicated resources we have to support you while you're here.
We also encourage you to explore the GI Bill Website as you consider applying to Mount St. Mary's University.
Mount St. Mary's participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program which allows eligible veterans and dependents to attend the Mount tuition-free. The Yellow Ribbon Scholarship supplements any Mount scholarship up to $17,500 or the cost of tuition, whichever is less. If the combined value of the two scholarships is less than tuition, the Mount will award additional institutional funds to cover the remainder of the tuition.
To be eligible, a veteran must be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill™ at the 100% rate. Recipients are not eligible to receive any other institutionally-funded need-based grants.
When you're ready to apply, here are a few distinctions to ensure you have the proper forms:
