Our student body includes undergraduate and graduate students from nearly 50 countries around the world.

While Mount St. Mary's University is a best-value college, we do not offer fully funded international student scholarships and we do not offer Ph.D. programs, as was recently posted on social media by outside sources.

Campus Locations

With our campus locations in Emmitsburg and Frederick, Maryland, we are located about an hour from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Maryland, and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These areas are surrounded by mountain views, orchards and vibrant main street neighborhoods. Visitors can hike the Appalachian Trail, stroll the beautiful canal and tour an art museum, all in one day. You will have dynamic campus communities and have access to the nation's capital and all its resources.
