A large part of life at the Mount is learning leadership skills that will help you both personally and professionally. University leadership development programs such as AMP, C.O.R.E. and P.E.A.C.E. are experiential in nature – you learn while doing and build upon your academics in a more hands-on way.

Freshman year I was a CORE Leader and a freshman ambassador. Sophomore year I became the secretary of the Maryland Student Legislature. Junior year I joined the V.O.I.C.E. Executive Board and also became the vice president of Women in Business. All of these activities have a common thread, servant leadership. I have always strived to be in service to others.
The Mount is an ideal place to explore your faith. Our Center for Campus Ministry is one of the largest student life groups on campus, featuring over 20 clubs and organizations and offering opportunities for you to participate at any level – from leading retreats to supporting Mass services to singing in the Chapel Choir. As a university, we’re proud of our Catholic heritage, and we welcome students of every faith, and even have a popular interdenominational ministry called Light of Christ.
