Career Pathways

Bridging Student to Career

The Mount’s Career Pathways program prepares Mount students for their future by encouraging them to reflect upon their career goals and aspirations. We solicit the help of alumni and professionals in the community to provide internship and job opportunities for students. Our vision is to develop students into this generation’s leading professionals through experiential learning and mentoring opportunities with our talented network.

This is one of the many great Career Center programs that will help alumni and students connect for networking and may be fruitful for internship and job opportunities.

Student Outcomes

We want our students to connect with Mount alumni and have meaningful interactions that serve as learning opportunities and practical networking experiences. Pathway activities that support this include networking events, panels, mentoring opportunities, career fairs, on-campus recruitment, internships, and jobs.

I love the Career Center. I have been going since my Sophomore year and have gotten so much support that I'm so thankful for.

Alumni Mentors

Our Mount alumni network is strong and many alumni want to give back in a different way—by sharing their knowledge and advice with current Mounties. Alumni support Career Pathways by serving as a resource, not only as an expert in their chosen profession, but also on how to navigate the job search process in their industry/sector. This mentor or role model continues the Mount's tradition of giving back and gets a first hand look at the talent pool of the next generation.
