The Office of Competitive Fellowships assists students and alumni of the Mount community with the application process for highly competitive and distinguished awards, such as the Fulbright, Marshall, Rhodes, Goldwater, and Gates Cambridge Scholarship. These awards typically fund a number of opportunities, often in an international setting, including graduate education, research and experiential learning, nonprofit or political service, and foreign language study.
Distinguished fellowships and scholarships provide unequalled experiences for personal and professional growth, and provide students a unique way to live into the university mission of graduating students “who see and seek to resolve the problems facing humanity.”

Every year, Mount students win prestigious national awards and join elite scholar programs in the sciences, humanities, business and education. Our Office also provides support and funding for current students to pursue educational and professional opportunities over the summer months. Meet our students and learn more about their successes.

“I can see the profound effects and immense benefits my education is now producing as I invest in other educators. In Mount CARiTAS, the Mount looks at ways that we can serve those who serve. How do we empower, enable and support others who work directly with students and in the community to make them more effective, efficient and motivated educators?”
