The Writing Center is a collaborative learning resource that is free for all Mount students. Our tutors are trained and experienced students from majors such as communication, theology, history, biology and business.
Writing Center Tutors can help you with understanding assignment prompts, asking good research questions, outlining and brainstorming content, mastering citation styles, and more.
The Writing Center, located in the Phillips Library Honors Lounge, accepts both advance appointments and walk-ins. During "Appointment Hours," walk-ins will only be available if there are no scheduled appointments during any given 30-minute time slot. Select the button below to schedule your appointment.
If you are a remote student unable to visit the Center in person, please contact Dr. Jordan Loveridge (j.t.loveridge@msmary.edu) to make arrangements for your work to be reviewed. You must confirm you are an approved remote student to utilize this option.
