Experience the Mount

Just about every Mountaineer made a visit to campus before deciding to come here. Below is more information on how you can visit our beautiful 1,400 acre campus, both in-person and virtually!

Open House

Designed for high schoolers just starting the college search, seniors making their final decision and everyone in between, we invite you and your family to join us for an Open House! This day-long program provides you and your family the opportunity to receive an in-depth look at the Mount’s academic programs, admissions and financial aid information and various organizations on campus. Meet potential classmates, explore the Mount’s clubs and activities and see how Mount students are prepared for post-graduation success. This is your day to envision yourself as a member of the Mount community. Open House events also include morning refreshments, lunch and a student-led campus tour.

Mountaineer Visits

We’d love to show you around our beautiful campus, tell you what makes the Mount special and guide you through the college admissions process! Designed for you and your family to begin exploring your college options, Mountaineer Visits are a convenient and informative way to meet our admission team, ask any questions you might have and get a glimpse of life on campus. Mountaineer Visits are offered most Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and involve a 30-minute admissions presentation and a student-led tour of campus.

Experience the Mount Days

Looking to see what academic and campus life are like for a college student at the Mount? Experience the Mount Days are an opportunity for you to become a Mount student for the day. This day begins with a brief admissions presentation which includes a meet-and-greet with some of our faculty and community members. You will then have the opportunity to attend a class and go on a student led tour of main campus. The day will then end with lunch in Patriot Dining Hall. We hope you join the Mount Family for a day; we know you’ll want to come back!

Sunday Visits

Sunday Visits are a great opportunity for you and your family to learn more about the Mount's faith-based learning environment. You will hear how current students continue to grow faithfully at the Mount, meet members of our Center for Campus Ministry, and attend an optional Mass in our beautiful, historic Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. Conclude your time on campus with a visit to our scenic and well renowned National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Group Visits

We welcome you to bring your high school group to the Mount! Group Visits are a great way to introduce your rising junior and senior students to the Mount and the college process as a whole. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the requested date.

Transfer Discussions

Meet with our transfer admissions counselor one-on-one, followed by an optional campus tour. Virtual meetings options are also available.
