The Students Activities Office will plan, coordinate, supervise and evaluate student activities and programs with the support of the Center for Student Involvement and Belonging. Adding to a student’s academic involvement, Student Activities aims to alter the student experience with developing connections by providing exposure to and helping connect students to be engrossed in a diverse array of social programming in order to benefit each student towards shaping their experiences. Through our office's support, by creating quality events for students by students, these engagement opportunities will provide lifelong Mount memories throughout a student’s journey in college.
Student Activities helps connect students to where they BELONG by ENGAGING them in a diverse array of social programming. Student Activities then EMPOWERS students to shape their own experience through employment in the PAC and leadership development in AMP.
An annual tradition to kick off the new academic year, new and returning students gather to enjoy the delicious delicacy of the state of Maryland and enjoy other fun activities while interacting with members of the Mount community.
One of our most popular events, we host several BINGO nights per semester. Join your classmates for a night of fun, and maybe win some cool prizes in the process.
Directly following the Mount’s annual Ring Mass, junior students celebrate the evening by joining their classmates for a semi-formal Ring Dance on campus.
In addition to our great lineup of on-campus programs, we offer off-campus entertainment such as bowling and ice skating, as well as bus trips to places such as New York City, Washington D.C., Baltimore Orioles games or nearby amusement parks, such as Hershey Park.
At the end of the fall semester, join your fellow Mount students for a festive night at this semi-formal dance. It’s always a memorable night and a great way to celebrate the end of the semester.
We plan everything from shows by up-and-coming performers to huge outdoor concerts. Past performers have featured bands like Twenty One Pilots, PVRIS, MisterWives, and X Ambassadors and big-name comedians like Iliza Shlesinger, Ryan Hamilton, and Roy Wood Jr.
At Homecoming Weekend, you’ll experience firsthand what it means to be a Mount Maniac! You’ll go wild at the basketball game, pay tribute to our athletic greats with an alumni hall of fame induction ceremony, then follow it all up with a semi-formal dance.
All the fun of winning big prizes without spending any actual money. Play against your friends in blackjack, Texas hold’em, roulette and more!
AMP’s biggest program is a weekend filled with lots of fun activities for students to celebrate the end of the academic year. Past rAMPage events have included a Glow Party, Foam Drop, Food Truck Festival, Outdoor Concert, and much more!
Days before Commencement and the next step in your journey, join your fellow classmates for a night to remember! This formal dance is a time to celebrate all you have accomplished and the great friends you have made along the way.
Known by Mount students as the “PAC,” the Palmieri Activities Center opened in 2019 and serves as one of the primary event spaces on campus. When the PAC is not being used for events such as tailgates, dances, concerts and receptions, it is open to students as a lounge space featuring flat screen televisions, recreational games (such as ping-pong), and a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system. Whether it’s a food truck outside, or a BINGO night hosted by AMP, there is always something going on at the PAC!
The PAC is open seven days week and supervised by our trained student staff:
